A questionnaire survey was conducted with students and staff at Josai University to investigate their awareness of the new system. The total level of awareness for “Family pharmacist” was 70%. According to the results, there was a difference in responses regarding “Family pharmacists” between pharmaceutical science students/staff and non-pharmaceutical science students/staff. Therefore, the former was analyzed as “pharmaceutical science-related individuals” and the latter as “non-pharmaceutical science-related individuals.” Awareness of the existence and role of “family pharmacists” was significantly higher in pharmaceutical science-related individuals.Moreover, it was found that trust in the “family pharmacist” was not high, and that “family pharmacist” selection methods were not understood.
