With that concept firmly in mind, D.W.C.L.A. has established the future concept “Vision 150” towards the 150th anniversary of our founding. Vision 150 began in 2016 with the concept of cultivating people who could improve the 21st century from a female perspective, this year the project is entering its second phase. We are planning to promote about 30 businesses with the goal of further development. Improvement is not about aiming for a status that is considered to be “correct” within a fixed sense of values. I believe that improvement is about breaking down each person’s existing sense of values, and continuing to expand upon new possibilities. I would like for you to cultivate the diverse abilities that each of you are endowed with, and live with a sense of freedom and flexibility. With that in mind, our university values education that includes contact with people. Even in these times of corona, over 90% of our classes are held face-to-face. We are establishing a system that is not just for studying, but is also for becoming more connected with student’s lifestyles and their dreams. I believe that by continuing the contact between the university and the students, this leads to inspiration for learning and growth, and will be a trigger for students to expand their possibilities. To all examinees, please be sure to visit the open campus at least once. Through contact with the students who are learning and being active here, you will find your inspiration to learn.
