Because majority of adult malignant brain tumors are gliomas and primary CNS lymphomas (PCNSL), rapid differentiation of these diseases is required for therapeutic decisions. In addition, diffuse gliomas require molecular information on single-nucleotide variants (SNV), such as IDH1/2.
